With nowhere to hang it, it remained folded up in a plastic bin in the (very messy) attic until this autumn.
Lifting the wallhanging out of storage, I washed and dried it, and put it on the kitchen table!
It's perfect.
The images are right in style for this time of year.
If you have a wallhanging you don't use, think about putting it to good use in a new roll.

Your wall hanging turned out to be a perfect table cloth! I do like table cloths and always have one on the dining room table. Right now I have an ecru cloth with a gold cloth overlapping it. Looks warm and cozy for these cool days and nites. I,too, have used a wall hanging as a table cloth; it works well. Love it when things can be used for several different purposes. Have also used a "throw" as a wallhanging and a table cloth. That reminds me, it is time to hang up my Halloween wall hanging. October is zipping along and will be over before you can say boo!

Good idea Susan..it looks great. I only have placemats on my tables..not tablecloths.. I use tablecloths when I have company for dinner only.
I am wondering - was the whole table cloth the wall hanging or did you ad to it.
I think that was a good idea. It is very pretty.
I have used tablecloths, but mainly for company.

I have a round table and always have a table cloth on it. I love table clothes. Great idea for a wall hanging to be converted. Love it.
