A Warm and Blessed Thanksgiving Day to All!

Well, it's here--- the day most Americans have been waiting and preparing for.

My late  Lithuanian grandmother's  luscious giblet stuffing has been prepared.

The turkey's in the oven, the side dishes have been prepared and are warming and the table is set.

The really beautiful cutwork tablecloth and napkins I found at a Salvation Army thrift store are adorning the dining room table.

The only thing now is to wait for the guests to arrive and bow our heads in thanksgiving to the Lord for all of our immense blessings!

This year, I wanted red goblets to grace the table! Thought they'd be so pretty.

After several phone calls to area stores, I finally found the goblets of my dreams at Home Goods.

Then, my beloved daughter and son-in-law gifted me with four gorgeous red wine glasses, with gold around the rims, from Italy.

They are so stunningly beautiful.

The table's all set with my precious Old Country Roses china that my daughter gave me one Mother's Day!

The candles are ready to be lit.
The only thing left is a little bit of vacuuming.

So to you, dear reader, I wish a lovely and happy Thanksgiving Day.

Remember my gigantic antique  punch bowl that I got for $15 in a thrift shop?

Well, it's got a lovely candle inside, ready to cast a special glow during the Thanksgiving dinner.

There is so much to be thankful for, including you!

BESIDES FAMILY AND FRIENDS, WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ARE THANKFUL FOR RIGHT NOW?

I am thankful for waking up to a cold but sunny, blue skies day. So looking forward to having my family gathered around the table, which I have yet to set. Better get moving.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving Day...
