Dolly in Red
People have favorite items in almost every kind of collection.
Among my many dolls, there's one that I especially love.
I've written about her many times before. You can read one of the posts here if you are interested.
Yesterday, as the late afternoon sun streamed into the dining room, it illuminated her red velvet dress.
Her green eyes seemed to light up in the brightness of the sun.
Seeing my little beauty looking so pretty warmed up my heart on a very, very cold winter's day.
HOW ABOUT YOU? WHAT WARMS UP YOUR HEART?

What a beauty she is! It is easy to see why she is a favorite.
What warms my heart? Sunshine, love, and family! Enjoy your dolls as you have since you were a very little girl. I'm so glad you can share them with your granddaughter!
Hi Susan...busy week with little blogging time. I just can't get caught up. My friend is coming today from MT, so that is one thing that warms my heart! Family and dollies and blogger friends like you!
Love,
Linda
What beautiful dolls and "Little Miss Red" has such expression in her eyes that she seems almost real. Stay warm, XOXO
Pretty doll but sure a serious face! I love the white hobnail vase on her cabinet!
I can see why you like her so much. Her features are well done - very realistic.
She is a pretty doll! I was taken by her green eyes too and that sweet little face.
She has a life-like expression. What a pretty doll.
She is beautiful and looks so real! I love seeing a glimpse of your dolls! I collect dolls too and love them all. Enjoy your day!
Susan,
Your doll is exquisite. She looks so sweet in her red velvet dress. I have a doll that is similar to this, and what's special about her is that she is wearing a replica of my wedding dress that my mother made. I will cherish it forever.
Have a good week ahead.
Love,
~Sheri
