We've all heard of makeovers where a person's appearance changes dramatically.
Sometimes it's a new hair style or color.
A different outfit can give a fresh outlook, too.
Well, the same goes for chairs.
Last weekend, I must have been on a chair change kick because I revamped two of them.
One was an old wooden chair that I bought at a yard sales several years ago for $5.00, shown in today's post
I like to keep it on the front porch, sometimes with a plant on it.
Well, it was starting to look pretty shabby.
So Saturday, I painted it totally white, then mixed pink into the white paint and gave it a second coat.
I love the way it came out and have it in a downstairs bathroom.
DO YOU EVER REVAMP SOMETHING BY PAINTING IT?

Yipee. I love chairs! This pink one looks GREAT
Hello from Spain: I like the color of your chairs. I love to paint. I paint a lot of furniture and even bicycles for my daughters. It relaxes me. Keep in touch
I would love that pink chair at my house, too. Your are a treasure hunter, and a treasure to know.
This looks great. I definitely need to get busy and transform a few pieces I have around here!
Great makeover of the chair. Love the soft pink paint. Will look lovely with a plant on it.
I saved the high chair I used many years ago for our babies and so when my little grandaughter needed a high chair to use at our house, I sanded the old high chair and painted it a beautiful cranberry color. A soft off white, quilted table runner was used as a back and seat cushion. It is so wonderful and strange to see this little sweetheart sitting in the chair her father sat in 35 years ago!
Susan,
I love your chair, and the color is perfect. It's so soft and pretty. Yes, sometimes I make things over by painting them, adding jewels and such, or just by cleaning them.
Happy Mother's Day, my sweet friend.
love,

Thank you so much Susan! =) You are so kind. You caught me visiting again. I just LOVE that pink chair. Several years ago, I painted two old wooden rockers from my great grandmothers estate. They are now the most comfortable chairs on my porch. I love giving old things new life. Just wanted to say again how very much I love your blog. Such a sunny spot in my day. Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie
I'm allergic to paint...but your makeovers are stunning!
I think you need to come make me over!
