Gardening for the Dollhouse

In addition to working on plants for the yard of our home, I've been busy working on plants for the dollhouse yard as well!

This year, I decided to add a yard to one of the dollhouses.

The process of doing that you can read about here, if interested.

A wonderful YouTube video showed how to fill tiny pots with Styrofoam from the dollar store, add glue and dip into "coffee grounds" for dirt, then add tiny flowers! (Many thanks to that instructor whose name I think was Joanne.)

Never having done such a project before, I thought I'd give it a shot.

The tiny flower pots were found at Goodwill for 49 cents a package.  Score!

I tried to pick out the tiniest flowers that could be found,  at the dollar store.

So far so good on the dollhouse yard  project.

I'll be writing additional posts as the dollhouse yard evolves but wanted to share this latest project with you!

Dollhouse miniatures, for me, make for a splendid hobby!

Joining Home and Garden Thursday on Kathy's blog, A Delightsome Life. Thanks for hosting, Kathy!

HAVE YOU EVER WORKED ON A DOLLHOUSE YARD?

What a cute idea for the dollhouse. I have never worked on a dollhouse never mind flowers for a dollhouse! But as we know, flowers are the greatest, even in a dollhouse garden. Have fun.

Susan, those are great! How pretty! I just saw teeny tiny clay flowerpots somewhere recently, where was that? Maybe Hobby Lobby or Michael's back in the floral? If I see them again I'll let you know.
Have a great weekend,
Gina
