Welcome Spring, Welcome Guests

Oh, can you feel the sweetness of spring in the air?

All of a sudden, birdies are chirping.

Bushes, that just yesterday were skeleton branches against the sky, are filled with green buds or, better yet, have already burst into profuse numbers of blossoms.

Who doesn't love spring?

It's such a delightful season.

Out on the front porch, in addition to a rose-covered  kissing ball and a revamped chair,  hangs the fat cabbage rose wreath I made.

It, once again, adorns the front door, but it's minus the big pink bow, which fell apart.

The "Welcome Friends"  sign is back in view, too.

On an excursion to Maine one year, I found it, loved it, bought it and brought it home. So glad I did.

Sending each person reading this sweet blessings of spring!

When I lived in New England
Spring was my favorite season of the year. Just the smell of fresh blossoms on the trees was so invigorating. Enjoy it while it lasts as the heat and humidity of summer is right around the corner.

I know exactly how you feel about your door wreath. On Valentine's Day I hang my small, heart shaped, floral wreath on the door and countdown to spring. It remains there until December.

I love everything about Spring! Also love everything about Summer, about Autumn and about Winter. I love the change of seasons in New England. Each season has it charms and I look forward to and enjoy them all.

Your Spring wreath is lovely with or without the bow and I'm sure it lends a beautiful Spring touch to your front porch.

Happy Spring....
