Up on the Roof

On a recent day trip, we drove to Hartford, Connecticut, on one of the nicest buses we've ever been on.

It was a vehicle owned by Kuzmeskus, Inc. of Gill, Massachusetts.

The company's very personable driver said the buses are made by Mercedes-Benz in Belgium.

They were roomy, comfy and, well, kind of elegant.

The best part was that one could look up and out through the glass partitions in the ceiling!

Of course, that made me want to snap, snap, snap my handy little Panasonic Lumix digital camera.

Got a couple shots of the sunset through the side window on the way home, too.

DO YOU LIKE TO GO ON BUS TRIPS?

I've been on many luxurious buses in my many trips abroad but can't think of any that had a glass ceiling...looks like a lot of fun. Great pictures!

Hello from Spain: I do not like to travel by bus. I prefer the train. Nice pictures of the sunset. Keep in touch

I'm always a little nervous on bus trips; there's been some wicked accidents over the years. But, I do know Hartford and you captured it's beauty of skyscrapers, XOXO

I haven't actually rode the bus in many years. I don't remember the last time, but I see you got some great pictures along the way. The skies are beautiful, Susan. Doesn't nature give us something pleasant to see every day?

love,

Many years ago, my husband and I planned and hosted several busloads of senior citizens from our church on several bus tours. We always enjoyed it - and a comfortable bus makes a HUGE difference :)

This one looks aMAZing!

Great photos, too!
