Peaches are among my favorite fruits.
That's true mainly at this time of year when they are sweet and juicy.
Mid-winter peaches fall into the same category as mid-winter tomatoes----not worth the money for them. They are similar to tasteless plastic balls. ha!
But late summer and fall peaches? mmmm mmmm mmm
While I love them in cobblers, they are perfect just as they are....sweet and dripping down one's chin!
OKAY. WHICH DO YOU PREFER---PEACHES OR NECTARINES?

Oh I love peaches and had at least three of them in the past week. They are at their best this time of year. Nectarines are ok but I like the fuzz on the peaches better..yum. I rarely make anything with them..I like them plain right out of the fruit bowl and even put them in my morning cereal.
I guess I would say I like peaches slightly more than nectarines. I do love a nice peach pie, but eating them out of hand is the best; not so many calories and all that marvelous peach flavor!
I love peaches and I know you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
PEACHES!! MMmmm, good! I love them fresh and/or baked!
