Life Is Fragile

Life truly is quite fragile.

I think of it as fleeting as a soap bubble.

Soap bubbles are so lovely, especially when tinged with rainbows,

but puff! They are so easily broken and then are gone forever.

Consequently, knowing our time here on earth is quite short,
it's important to cherish every moment.

These days, at the beginning of a new and beautiful month, there
are so many lovely things to look at.

Displays of fruits and vegetables at local super and farmers markets
are colorful and abundant-----like our lives can be.

(I snapped all of the photos of verdant plants and color-splashed displays in today's post at Guido's, a specialty market in Western Massachusetts.)

TELL US ABOUT SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL YOU SEE TODAY.

Hello from Spain: I love the sun today. It's cold but the sky is blue. Nice photos. We have to appreciate life. Keep in touch

Those are great pictures. The flowers and pumpkins are so pretty. It may sound weird, but it's pouring down outside where I live in Pennsylvania and it's so beautiful to me. This morning, I've been stretched out across the sofa, reading a good book and just listening to the sound of rain. At times I look out the window to watch it fall and see people ducking over puddles as they walk to their cars.

Have a lovely weekend... :)

I saw a beautiful sight this morning at the pool at my local rec center. A friend who had a major stroke a few months ago was in the pool even though she is paralyzed on one side of her body. It was so wonderful to see her enjoying herself with the help of her amazing daughter.
