Adorable Valentines

One of the best aspects of Valentine's Day is receiving cards.

Those little frilly, colorful messages can fill our hearts with love.

They don't necessarily cost that much but they are truly priceless.

Nowadays, people send Valentine cards less and less.

However, I have found a solution-----save Valentine cards year after year.

Nobody knows if the cards they see in your house are recycled and, quite honestly, most people wouldn't even care.

In the plastic tub reserved in the attic for the Valentine's Day holiday, the cards are preserved perfectly, along with all kinds of other hearts and other decorations.

Right now, a most beautiful collection of Valentine lovelies are displayed in my late mother's card rack.

As new ones come in, they get added to the display. When I run out of room on the rack, the cards stand up in front.

The cards are displayed on the front hall table with other decorations.

Every time I pass the pretty cards, they make me smile.

DO YOU LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS? DO YOU SEND THEM?

Those are ALL so pretty, Susan. I'm working on Valentine cards for the grandkids today. It's always fun to get something in the mailbox. :-) Have a wonderful day.

This is a great idea, Susan! You see, I still send out the hard copy Valentine cards to family and friends. What a beautiful idea to have a card bouquet as a decoration. I keep my favorite cards down through the years as well. Thanks for sharing this with your followers!

... Hello Susan... in Australia it's mostly young people who send valentine's day cards. I have sent a couple to my hubby over the years.. but it's not a regular thing.
Your card and heart decorations are beautiful....
Have a great day... hugs.... Barb xxx

What a nice collection of Valentine cards you have, Susan. Yes, I love getting cards in the mail, and I love sending them. I sent the girls some just like the old Valentine cards that we shared when we were kids with the theme of Disney's Frozen hehehehe. I hope it makes them smile. :)

love, ~Sheri

I love the whole Valentine idea too. I save them from previous years also. I have one that your mother sent me quite a few years ago; I treasure it and enjoy seeing it and reading the message she wrote.

Your Valentine holder is a great idea. It does bring a smile to see them as you pass by.
