Don't Look Til Easter

Sometimes we come across items that pull our heartstrings.

We may not even know why that happens but it does.

Such is the case with the little rabbit-person covering his eyes.

Picked up this piece many years ago and it never fails to get a smile from me when he's rediscovered each Easter season.

This year, the little bun-bun figure gets his own mini chair .

Perhaps he's covering his eyes so he won't see the Easter baskets being made!

I know many people believe in "out with the old to make room for the new" but sometimes that just doesn't work for me.

How about you?

DO YOU ESPOUSE TO 'OUT WITH THE OLD TO MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW?'

What a darling rabbit! My rule is in with one, out with two...but obviously I fail at following it always!

Not at all - I love old. Means a whole lot more to me. However if I see something really, really cute and it is tugging at me - I will add it too.

Susan, Pretty header on your blog..darling Easter decorations..Watch out for that snow you are having with your egg tree outside. Here I have just gotten a lovely Easter Lily plant from my friend ..such a nice surprise. Now I can add that to my Easter baskets and other little things I have around the house.

Well my friend, you know how I feel!!! I LOVE my old things and always seem to make room for them. I'm happy that you made a place for your little guy on his own chair. So dang cute.
Have a great weekend. Are you expecting more snow?
Hugs,
Linda

Oh, he's so adorable, Susan. And he has his own chair! Yes, I'm one for "out with the old and in with the new," but I have to say that I've kept some treasures that are so special to me and will never part with them. I can see why you kept this cutie for so long.
