Roses----Flowers of the Heart

Roses have got to be among the most gorgeous of all flowers.

A bouquet of deep pink, and cream colored roses delicately
edged in pink, are among the most beautiful I have ever seen.

They were a gift from our daughter and son-in-law on our 41st wedding anniversary!

See the little rainbow on one of the petals in the photo below?

Yes, we celebrated that momentous occasion this week.

The roses came in a lovely pink vase that looks like cranberry glass but really isn't.

The gift card was tucked inside the bouquet at the top of a long, plastic holder.

Every time I glance at these most magnificent  roses, my heart sings with gratitude and love.

I am deeply grateful for such an incredibly meaningful gift.

We also went to see Michael Moore's latest top-notch movie, "Where to Invade Next" and out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant.  Loved both so much!

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO CELEBRATE SPECIAL OCCASIONS?
