Whimsy in the Garden

Gardens are always fascinating.

Those with humorous or unique decorations are very appealing.

While visiting an aunt in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, I saw truly special garden.

It was part of the elderly housing complex where my aunt lives.

There was a very colorful house for the birdies:

Big, smiling bugs:

A chubby piglet, looking up to the sky:

A froggy holding a hanging plant:

A colorful duck:

Each little item of whimsy elicited smiles among the roses and other blooms.

DO YOU LIKE HUMOROUS GARDEN TOUCHES?

I don't have a garden but these were so so cute. She really lives in a neat place. Hope I get something like that when I'm her age. Cute pictures Susan.

I love seeing unique metal art in gardens. Anything to illicit a genuine smile is a-o-k in my book.

Looks like the garden was very lovingly tended. All the touches of whimsy do add so much to a space. Gardens and whimsy; a wonderful combination....

I love and have had humorous gardens of my own - Andy and I would decorate it. Haven't done it in awhile tho. I love whimsy.

When you go to blogspot - are the pictures different appearing to you? Just asking.
