La Loma Restaurant in Denver, Colorado

Whenever we travel to Denver, Colorado, we always try to have a meal at La Loma restaurant.

Good quality, authentic Mexican food is almost impossible to find in our small, western Massachusetts town.

So going to La Loma is always a real treat.

The restaurant's "queso" (cheese) dippy and accompanying salsas, (shown above), tickled the palette.

On this last trip, the tacos, (shown at the top of this post),  were mouthwatering and I asked for extra avocado and cilantro.

The Corona with a lime wedge hit the spot on that hot summer's day.

Of course, the house-made tortilla chips and spicy salsa were not too shabby, either.

That looks scrumptious. I would love some of that salsa and avocado right now.

Both of my adult children love it but not me. I absolutely hate it.

Chips and salsa is one of my favorite foods on the planet! Actually, I love all Mexican.

Wow, western Mass to Denver is a very long trip. Were you driving all that way? Much beautiful scenery along the way, though.

YUMMY! Yes, I love Mexican food and eat it at least once a week! I think it's great that this restaurant makes homemade chips and salsa. These tacos look really good. So glad you got to go back to this favorite place of yours, Susan.

love, ~Sheri
