Winter Is Back?

Oh NOOOOOOO.

Our lovely taste of spring weather has disappeared.

Temps had gone up for a few days and it was glorious to walk around without coats and boots.

One could even hear birdies chirping.

Then, last night, after the delightful sun went to bed, heavy chilly rain pelted the area.

There were winds, too, and the wind chimes on the back porch were going crazy.

Today, the weather report says snow flurries.  Waaaaaaa waaaaaaa.

As a matter of fact, the little flakes are flurrying down from a light gray sky as I write this.

Looks like we will have to make our own sunshine in our hearts today.

ANYTHING FUN PLANNED FOR TODAY?

I keep waiting for a freeze to kill all our blooms and praying it doesn't happen. Last night I had fun at a cookout at my daughter's house. Neighbors, kids running around, just a great time. Today I'm heading to church. Wishing you a wonderful day sweet friend.

We went from 81 degrees yesterday to upper 50s today! I guess that's winter again, but everything is in bloom after a week of 70s. Spring will come, my friend, XOXO

This is just how it is during the change of seasons. We have no snow on the ground here in Central Illinois and back around 60 today so not bad at all. We too had one cold day (on Saturday), but the springtime birds are back in full here and the hardy spring flowers are blooming. Meterological Spring begins on Wednesday! :)

NOTE TO LINDA, above. Hi Linda. I tried to email you but you have Google-plus which I don't have so it was impossible to get through. Do you have another email address, like in gmail? If you read this, let me know. Thanks. Susan

Your tulips are a pretty color. Orange is such a happy color, and it will brighten up your house a little until spring comes. :) Although, I do love seeing your snow pics, Susan.
