Welcome to the Flowers of Spring

This is the absolutely loveliest time of the year.

Buds are bursting into green on the trees and flowers are popping up everywhere.

The daffodils, muscari and tulips in our yard this spring make my heart sing.

They are so adorable,  bright,  and cheery.

There are favorites, of course, like the little lady below.

She is just so perky and precious.

Rain is forecast for  this weekend and if it's heavy and cold, the beauties' lives could be short lived so it's important to love them in the moment.

The red tulips this year are a very brilliant shade.

They make the eyes pop!

Truly, spring flowers are amazing gifts that need no wrapping.

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SPRING FLOWERS AND WHY?

Yes, spring beauty is great. You are a little behind us here. Of course 11 inches of rain in last month has dampened our spring flowers! Onward though...the green leaves on trees are lush!

Aren't the flowers of Spring lovely? I think you know that the Rose is my favorite Spring flower. Maybe because it's so pretty, yet sturdy too. And the scent is so sweet. It also goes way back in time. : )
