A candy and cookie tree in the kitchen makes a cheerful Christmas corner.
At night, it casts a lovely glow throughout the kitchen.
The turquoise, yellow and red lights look bright and festive.
There are colorful tin Mexican ornaments on the tree, too.
Nothing on the little tree is edible, however.
The lolly pops have been given a coat of lacquer and wrapped in plastic so they can last year after year.
The gingerbread boys and girls look good enough to eat but are made of resin.
But never fear, if little visitors are coming, edible, fresh cookies can be hung and distributed at the snap of the fingers.

What a fun idea to make a candy tree. My best friend made one this year for her grandbaby, who is a year old. I think she's the perfect age to enjoy it. I used to have those gingerbread ornaments, Susan, and Nel liked them so much that I gave them to her. You really did a nice job decorating your house this year for the holidays.
