Mind Your "Beeswax"

Beeswax candles supposedly burn cleaner than regular candles.

During a presentation on how to make beeswax candles, a woman who has been on the job for 20 years, told how tapered candles have to be dipped numerous times before they are ready to be sold.

She demonstrated the dipping technique and hung the candles to dry.

The lecture was very educational.

It took place as just one attraction for the public at Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield, MA.

HAVE YOU EVER USED BEESWAX CANDLES?

We saw a candle dipping event in the Ozarks. It was interesting. This year I have artificial candles. LOL

I have not sued them. I really don't 'burn' candles a lot. I have seen them made - it was interesting!

A long time ago I made my own candles ...all sorts of scents and dipping etc. Not any more. I do not even burn candles ..just rarely. I'm sure it was an interesting lecture.

That's interesting, Susan. I don't think I've ever tried beeswax candles. But I do love candles very much. That tree candle is sure pretty. : )
