May They Rest in Peace...

These are sad times in the United States of America.

All the senseless deaths in Florida this week have really weighed heavily on my heart and mind.

The mass shootings of innocent human beings have happened so many times before and, unless things change, they will happen again.

Each individual must determine what she or he can do to make things better.

Taking action is always better than giving up in discouragement.

For today, my thoughts are with the heartbroken families who have lost loved ones.

May the deaths of those precious human beings, as well as those who previously died by gun violence, not be in vain.

May they rest in eternal peace.

Very sad for all the families who lost loved ones and also sad for the mentally ill people out there. Along with prayers and good thoughts we must vote for leaders who are willing to change the gun laws.

I totally agree. I hope and pray that we can finally learn something and there can be peace on earth. sandie

Senseless. When will the hypocrites stop lining their pockets and actually do something. We also need to find better ways of dealing with children who are unstable or deal with anger issues. That boy gave so many hints that he was going to lose it at some point. The FBI had his name months ago and dropped the search saying they couldn't come up with anything. Seriously? They are the FBI. It's their job to investigate and find suspects. That makes absolutely no sense to me at all. It's not like he was hiding out somewhere unable to be found. There are many of the students from the school who are raising their voices. I hope they continue to rise up and demand change.
