It's important to realize the power of our minds.
Our thoughts can destroy us or lift us up.
No matter what is going on around us in the world, we can choose to focus on the positive.
Bad times come, for sure, but they also pass.
Just like a torrential rain storm, it eventually ends and the water that fell helped the flowers and the grass.
In almost every situation, good can result.
Today, I am going to try and focus on the positive, no matter what.

Making art or crafting with friends certainly helps. And getting out for a walk to rid the mind, body and soul of all the toxic noise.
1. Turning off the social media for a while.
2. Going for a walk and enjoying the front gardens in my neighbours' yards.
3. Listening to the birds.
4. Watching dogs out for happy walks with their families.
5. Reading cheerful books (anything Susan Branch, for one).
6. Turning up the gratitude.
7. Picking a sprig of flowers and arranging them in a vase.
8. Visiting a lovely blog like yours, Susan!

Thank you for this special and wonderful post, Susan. I talked to a friend from church today, and she has a way of making one feel more at peace. A nice cup of tea in the afternoon sure helps too. And your tea pot wall hanging is sweet.
