Each Halloween, it was so much fun to dress up to greet the trick or treaters.
It was great to create a fun atmosphere in the house, too.
This year, as always, inside the front hall, lighted candles along several stairs illuminated the darkness.
On the hall table, ol' skeleton man's eyes lighted up as well as more candles!
The door opened sloooooooowly.
Then, the greeter stepped from behind it with the treats.
One little fellow looked at me and said, "Oh, I thought a ghost opened the door!"
It was fun for all and now on to a brand new, beautiful month.....November!

Susan you were just gorgeous in that costume. Awesome. Your house is really cool. Did you have a lot of kids at your house - we had a huge amount tonight!
Looking forward to a wonderful month of November. It's still warm here in So Cal. Some leaves are changing...my maple trees in my back yard look yellow now. I'm hoping to have Thanksgiving with my grandchildren, son and daughter in law.
