One of the best parts of having a home of one's own is hosting meals for guests.
It's fun picking out tablecloths, decor, and, of course, preparing the food.
Having a fruit tray is always successful.
One of my sister's brought over some luscious tassies.
They are like little pecan pies. Yummy.
An old-fashioned punch bowl, filled with faux roses and tiny lights
adorned the table, too.
Of course, a mix of people we love at the table is best of all.

My attempt at any entertaining is nothing like what you do for your guests. I keep it very simple...don't have a centerpiece or much as far as decorations go but my meals are good...does that count?
