An Artist's Touch in a Children's Museum

A recent excursion to an out-of-town destination,  the Amelia Park Children's Museum in Western Massachusetts, turned out to be a place of immense fun for little ones as well as adults!

Let's get a closer look at that gorgeous fish:

An interactive museum whose designers win top accolades for creativity, it was literally filled with fabulous activities for kids of all ages.

We will show you some of the highlights of Amelia Park Children's Museum in future posts.

Today, however, I wanted to show you some of the most exquisite art work found on the walls of the ladies' room, of all places.

While writing this post, a quick call to the museum revealed that the artist who created the beautiful wall art was Natalie Avery.

The young woman who answered the phone said Natalie used to work at the museum and now lives out-of-state.

One thing is for sure. She is a very, very talented artist who brought her paintings at the Amelia Park Children's Museum to life with the stroke of a brush.

They are so very real-looking. That's what makes them so special.

Thank you, Natalie, for sharing your immense talent and leaving so many lovely images for others to enjoy while visiting the museum!

Even the bench that little ones stand on, to wash their hands, had the artist's special touches!

DO YOU ENJOY SEEING ARTISTIC MURALS ON WALLS?

What a delightful outing. And to see all those lovely murals, even in the Ladies Room, it all adds up to beauty in special ways.

Thanks for a lovely viewing, Susan! Wishing you a beautiful weekend.
