Christmas in Two Dollhouses

Just wanted to share my love of dollhouses with you, dear peeps.

Decorating two dollhouses, one big and one little one, is among the sheer joys of the Christmas season.

The big one is fairly new so is still a work-in-progress. That's why there are no curtains on the windows or wallpaper on the walls....maybe next year it will look very different.

The fire in the big dollhouse fireplace actually flickered.

Throughout the years, hundreds of little holiday items have been collected with my dollhouses in mind.

Tiny Santas, mini red bows by the dozens, bitty packages wrapped and festooned with bows, and on and on fill many storage boxes and some of them came out at Christmas this year.

I made little tables from the white plastic  pieces found in the middle of pizzas.

The covers were made from holiday paper napkins.

Just going to let the photos do the talking from this point on.

The rest of the photos are from the small dollhouse:

WHAT, IF ANYTHING, DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOLLHOUSES?

I love it when I saw the whole photo of it and when it went room to room it became very real - like life size. I know that was a lot of work.
