She is definitely a glamour girl with a bit of a story to tell, if she would.
I think that hat is hiding a wink.
Maybe she's all dolled up with no place to go.
She has as many stories as those who see her.
It is the same with life. We all view the same scene at a bit of a different angle.
It's a wonder anybody understands anybody. lol
She is definitely a glamour gal. I think you are too. That is a deep question. I have always wished I could go back in time and live in different generations of time for a week or so. Just to see and feel what they were like.
Saw your note about the blog list on my blog. I tried to do something and didn't work.
So what I will try now is unfollow you on your blog and then refollow and see what happens.
Don't go away. lol
Always liked the era with the Civil War ...I guess I liked those huge hoop dresses which was the fashion of that time and dancing to Strauss waltzes..ha ha ha.
Your glamour girl has stories to be told. maybe you should do a contest, 500 words on her. LOL
Yes indeed, she sure is glamorous! I love the way you included her in your header.
My favorite era is the 1930's. I am fascinated by the people of The Great Depression. I think they had a strength of character largely foreign to us today.
Blessings,
Patti
Oh, she is a fabulous glamour girl, Susan. What a great find. She looks so classy.
To answer your question.....I've always loved the pioneer era. I admire the women back then and the way they lived their life. A simple life, yet it was hard in many ways finding food and work, tending to their farms. But it was a life that I appreciate. I was just thinking recently about our world - it has gotten a bit too complicated for me, and while people try to make things easier, often times they just become more advanced and harder to keep up with. : )
Jess and Nel loves the 1920's era. : )
ps........Pioneer Women - I believe this era was the 1800's. : )
