Renovations in the Dollhouse

When it comes to kitchen appliances, white is my choice.

Stainless steel appliances seem very cold and unappealing.

Same thing goes in the dollhouses.

In the big dollhouse,  the refrigerator, stove, and all other pieces of furniture were ugly-looking wood.

Recently, thanks to the intervention of my older granddaughter, the kitchen appliances got a makeover!

They each got several coats of good quality white paint.

Had to make shelves for the refrigerator, too, and have added a handle to the freezer part of the refrigerator (since these photos were taken.)

The shelves were made from several pieces of cardboard glued together.

Voila!  Now they look spanking brand new!  Yippah.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR FOR A KITCHEN?

My favorite color for kitchen appliances is white and all mine are white and that's been that way since I've lived here. My cabinets are white also. My kitchen table and chairs are white too. You've done a great job painting your dollhouse kitchen appliances. Also I love your header on your blog for the fall.

I have always liked white shelving and cupboards, but I have never had them in the kitchen. We have oak cupboards and we do have steel front appliances (I like them shiny). And I have white bookcases in my study, which I have had for many years now and still like.

There is nothing like a new coat of paint to make anything spark up, and the white of the doll house furniture looks perfect. I get giddy just thinking of the fun we used to have with our dollhouses. So lovely your granddaughter is enjoying it now.

Wishing you a heart-comforting weekend, Susan.

Love your dollhouse! I’ve always preferred white appliances, too. White makes a good backdrop for any other color one might wish to use.

In truth there is no known pharmaceutical cure for Diabetes, but the good news is 'Diabetes is cured naturally by herbal medicine and with the right herbal proportion.
Doctors told my husband no cure, and still advised him not to research that he won't succeed and never offered him a solution. Thanks to the media and internet where I found Dr James @ drjamesherbalmix@gmail.com who is an African Roots and Herbal practitioner.
