Signs of Autumn

Although it has not yet officially arrived on the calendar, there are signs of autumn everywhere.

For instance, displays of autumn as well as Halloween art pack a store featuring home accessories.

The velvet pumpkins with wavy stems come in several sizes.

Even the small one, seen in this post, appeals.

In addition, happy-faced pumpkin paper plates call for display, rather than for just eating off of.

A lighted orange/cinnamon Village candle, made in Maine, fills the air with spicy fragrance.

Those three objects are simply meant to be together to form a sweet autumn vignette.

DO YOU REPURPOSE THINGS AROUND YOUR LIVING SPACE?

Autumn starts Sunday September 22. Here there are displays too but the weather still says summer with highs in the 80s this coming week. Love your autumn pictures.

I saw one of the velvet pumpkins just the other day and I almost bought it. After seeing this one, I wish I had. Love the color of it. Oooo Susan, I am guessing that your candle smells so good...How could it not with Orange and cinnamon? Smells of Fall for sure. I love how the color Orange brightens the season.
