This weekend marks the last, lingering hours to spend with my sister, Diane, who has been visiting from southern California.
As we get older, traveling becomes harder and with the airline delays, it is even more challenging.
I give my older sister credit for traveling alone cross country. That takes courage and stamina and she has them!Oh, what a week we've had, visiting other sisters, (there are five of us), cousins, and our 97 year old auntie, attending a big dinner made by a dear niece, Amy, and going out to eat in restaurants.
It has been delightful but it all comes to an end on Sunday when she flies back to the place she calls home.
My heart remains filled with gratitude for the precious time we have been able to share.
This weekend, I also wish you, my blog family, joy, peace, and deep contentment.
You are so very special and precious to me.
Have FUN!
WHAT FUN THING DO YOU HAVE PLANNED FOR THIS WEEKEND?

I know this has been a fabulous week for you all. This is so special that she has been able to visit for a week. Saying "see ya later" is so hard to do, especially when you know it will be a while before you see each other again. Thankful Susan that you have had this wonderful time with family. Nothing planned for our weekend here.
I do a lot of international travel and in addition to the issues of getting older, it has become a real train wreck since the covid pandemic. Something snapped with people during those stupid lockdowns, our travel agent said ever since its now travel season all year round. One piece of advice, never travel economy. for a little more, book premium economy or comfort economy, not as much as business but better than those torture devices known as coach seats.
I’ve had a lovely visit and a wonderful time.
