The first week of Christmas is a good time to get packages into the mail to assure they get to their destination by Christmas.
Many people consider sending Christmas cards old-fashioned and obsolete.
I am not one of them as I love sending them and getting them!
It's important to do things that need to be done in a peaceful manner.
Peace is one of the gifts of Christmas that I want the most.
While there is bound to be some rushing, it's my heart's desire to avoid last minute anything.
What gets done, gets done and what doesn't, doesn't. That makes sense to me this year.
Many old favorite decorations have been unpacked and are placed around the apartment.
This little fellow, shown below, can also be seen in the December header!
One of the best items purchased last year, and just re-filled for this Christmas. is the soap container, shown below.
When pressed down hard, it plays "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly" and makes me laugh every time I wash my hands.
Hoping each of you is enjoying the season so far and will continue to do so right to Christmas day and beyond.

Oh Susan
I love your Christmas header. I love all the photos you took of your many Christmas decorations. Thanks for sharing.
Hi precious Susan. I've been missing with so many things going on but hope to be here more often. I LOVE getting and sending real cards too.I love your decorations. We are behind but getting some decorating down. Part of the front yard looks like a Peppermint Candy Cane wonderland with all the snow we have. Thanks for sharing.
cuteness overload..and I love each item. The deer with the bulbs is so cute!!!
What a delightful soap dispenser, Susan. Have never seen one that plays music before. I remember these dear Christmas decorations, and I really like that gingerbread house. There's just something about gingerbread at Christmastime. Yes, I'm enjoying this season very much. And your words about avoiding "last minute" things is special, indeed.
