Some people make the world a better place just by being in it.
In a neighborhood last week, a family with children showed immense generosity.
They put dozens of children's book, toys, puzzles and stuffed animals out on a strip of lawn in front of their house.
A sign noted that everything was free for the taking.
There were no Craig's list or eBay announcements to make money with the items.
The family apparently just wanted to share their bounty with others.
The oversized Lego set with table came home with me.
We also happily claimed a slew of children's books.
The Lego set and table were given a good scrub and allowed to dry in the sun.
Then, with the help of a three year old, the first construction project was a castle, as shown in the photo at the top of this post.
To the unknown and very generous family, who may never even see this post, I say, "Thanks a million."
WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE VALUE OF GENEROSITY?
