Before Christmas, the dining room curio cabinet got moved to the living room, to accommodate a hutch brought down from upstairs.
How do you like that dancing girl in the pink dress and fur wrap, all the way on the right? You can read all about her here: http://writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2009/11/pink-lah-dee-dah.html
Most of the dolls in the curio cabinet shown in this post are quite small.
Some are not much bigger than your baby finger!
The dolly in the case with a straw bonnet on her head, shown below, is an Anne of Green Gables doll.
The book series and subsequent movie are among my absolute favorites.
As you can see, the dollies are dressed in all different colored outfits.
Some of them have such sweet faces.

There are blondes, brunettes, and even a couple of redheads, too!
The curio cabinet's bottom shelf holds primarily ceramic figurines and a replica of the Blessed Mother with a very pretty face and roses at her sides.
You can't really see it very well here because we are looking down on it.

Since dolls are absolutely one of my life's delights, I'm very happy with the curio cabinet "hotel."
The dollies make me smile every time I walk into the living room.
