Bird Cage Re-Vamp

The look of bird cages as decorative accents is quite appealing.

In magazine pages and on Pinterest, one can see dozens upon dozens of bird cages used to decorate.

So when I found a wrought iron bird cage in a thrift store for less than $7.00, I had to buy it.

Then came the revamp!  First, I painted  it white with a brush dipped in paint, rather than spray paint.

Luckily, I had some faux roses. Even though they are peach color instead of pink, I used them to decorate the top of the cage.

Hubs glued a little peachy bird inside to complete the look.

The only thing missing is bird song!

The cage is now hanging from an enclosed side porch that I just love.

If interested, you can read another post on the bird cage, shortly after its purchase, and before the revamp, here.
