A Granddaughter's Gift

A very unique ceramic piece adorned a cousin's table during a recent dinner.

It turned out to be more treasured than imaginable.

Her little granddaughter had made it and given it to her for Mother's Day, complete with little white stones and a small plant.

Talk about something more precious than diamonds, this was it.

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR MOST MEMORABLE GIFTS FROM A GRANDCHILD?

Well my kidlets are older - but last night my grandson Andy - gave me the biggest hug out of the blue - maybe the best I ever had. He is 18 and he never gives us hugs anymore - but who cares - I loved it.

My granddaughter mademe a medallion on a piece of wood when she was at summer camp one year. A real treasure now that she has babies of her own.

All three of my grandsons are artistic and all three have given me drawings that they have made and they adorn my refrigerator for many months. That little vase is adorable.

Homemade gifts are wonderful, especially when they are made with the small hands of a child. This little ceramic pot is precious. What a special gift from a granddaughter.

Happy June days, Susan.

*my most treasured gift was the Jesus doll from Francesca. : )
