Glass Paperweight Collection on the Wane

Collections come and go.

Some last a lifetime.

Others last just a short time.

A collection of glass paperweights was fun but had to be greatly downsized.

The weights, well, became too much to handle because they really did become heavy.

So the collection of paperweights was pared down but not abandoned.

The weights shown in this post are the hardy survivors.

They are, actually, the paperweights I like the most.

WHAT WAS THE LAST COLLECTION YOU ENJOYED BUT NO LONGER HAVE?

Oh my gosh I have started a collection of those for Andy. I love your first picture of the aqua one - my favorite color. It is hard to part sometimes with our beloved collections. Good night.

That is a cool collection of paper weights. I like the one with the pink rose. And I'm wondering what the red one is? I think the last collection I had was mermaids. I gave them all away, but still delight in them. : )

Susan Did you ever write down how many collections you have? I don't collect things at my house..just a few refrigerator magnets and seven music boxes.

Oh, they are absolutely beautiful! I have a small house, so no collections for me... well uh, just books!

They are all prettty, but I like the first one best. I have parted with my ceramic bunnies and hubby has packed up his collection of ceramic pigs. Seashells adn beach themed items are my latest collections.

I have had several collections that I have grown out of or downsized out of over the years. I love your survivors. xo Laura
