Roses of Remembrance

It is always sad to lose someone we love.

As shared on this blog most recently, hub's only surviving sister died in June.

One day, returning home, we found a luxurious potted rose bush on our front porch.

It was a gift from one of my sisters and brother-in-law.

The deep, red blooms remain so utterly gorgeous.

The rose bush will be planted near our fountain in the backyard.

Every time we see the gorgeous blooms we will think of Mercedes, as well as of the generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness of its givers.

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO REMEMBER SOMEONE WHO HAD DIED?

What a pretty red rose bush. It will look nice planted by the fountain in your back yard. You will always think of your sister-in-law when you're out there and gaze upon them.

Comforting thoughts and love coming your way, Susan.

A lovely rose bush, what better way to honor Mercedes. I had a friend who planted trees in the back yard of her new home and nmaed them after friends. Linda didn't fare too weel, But Bill did.
