Signs of the Season

Today, it is dark gray outside and rainy.

It's a good day for staying home, if possible.

Luckily, the photos in this post were taken on a bright and sunny day!

Fall is not quite in full swing here in western Massachusetts but there are signs of it everywhere.

In the early morning, the air is very cool and refreshing.

Some of the trees have started changing the color of their leaves.

There are mostly yellows at this time but the sizzling reds and oranges are coming.

The sun is going down earlier and by 7:15 p.m., it's dark outside. Boooo hoooo This is one of the changes I truly dislike.

Otherwise, each moment of autumn is a celebration.

It is truly a gift to be alive.

WHAT IS YOUR ABSOLUTE NUMBER ONE THING TO LOVE ABOUT AUTUMN?

Such pretty golden trees, Susan. We see the oranges and reds here first, then the golds. There are just too many things to mention that I love about Autumn. It's the most wonderful season, isn't it?

Have a peaceful week, Susan.

I am enjoying your autumn with you. Not sure we are getting one this year. I did look at the weather and it is saying in a week we will drop ten degrees!

We are almost 100 degrees in St. Louis. I love walking outdoors in fall. Your trees are pretty. One day I would like to be a leaf peeper up your way.

People ask for a lower salary than they should because they feel employers won't agree to something higher. This makes you look desperate and as if they undervalue themselves.bhakti Bhajan
