Breathe........

In the midst of this busy season, when "to do" lists out do "just be" lists, it's imperative to take time to breathe.

When schedules get very crammed, I stop and take some very DEEP breaths and it always helps.

Everything will get done eventually.

If it does it does, and if it doesn't, oh well. Dem's da breaks.

DO YOU MAKE LOTS OF LISTS?

I mostly make reminder lists for myself rather than to do lists. I remind myself of an appointment I have or to pick up some one or to go to an event. Those are the kind of lists I make. Glad you are taking time to breathe Susan.

This year I have more lists than usual. A big crowd coming to our house with some overnight guests. So I'm making my lists and checking them twice. It helps keep me on track and I love when the check marks indicate a task or purchase to make is completed.

Good word about taking time to deep breathe. I know it really does help!

Happy weekend, Susan.

I went to lunch yesterday - at one of my bible study gals - okay her house is huge - she must have at least ten trees up and everything else is decorated to the hilt with nice decorations. It takes her 6 weeks straight to put them up!

I feel exactly the same. As the day wears on, I don't try to get it all done. I know when to rest. I am always revived in the morning and energized to start anew.

I do! But they're just guidlines. We made Christmas very simple the last 2 years and that has given me less stress and I'm having more fun. We do not exchange gifts in our family. We may surprise each other with lunch or a Christmas ornament. But no more need less spending and searching for the perfect gift. And I am having so much fun! I hope your season is great! Kit 🎄
