The anniversary day was truly blessed.
Our daughter surprised us by bringing over a delicious lunch from our favorite Indian restaurant, Mint, in western Massachusetts.
Some people may dislike the flavors and spices used in cooking from India but we love them.
It was just a delectable treat.
She also brought a bouquet of gorgeous spring flowers.
Throughout the day, people stopped by and brought more gifts of love, including two more bouquets of flowers, more food, a bottle of my favorite wine, and a little cake with HAPPY ANNIVERSARY written on the top of the fluffy white frosting.
We will show you the flowers on another post.
One of the bouquets is all white roses. In a round crystal vase, they look so very stunning.
My heart just about overflowed with all the love that came our way.
WHAT DO YOU THINK HELPS A COUPLE HAVE A LONG MARRIAGE?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looks like you had a feast - given by friends.
Which you have a lot of.
I think you have to have grit and determination at times - when things get bad - it seems they turn good just around the corner!
Happy Anniversary Susan! Wow! that Indian food is making me hungry! Yum!
Happy Anniversary. What a lovely surprise. xo Laura
