A happy sight greeted me when I came into the kitchen this morning.
A small bouquet of golden daffodils practically shouted out a "Good m Morning" message.
They came from my daughter and son-in-law's farmhouse yard.
Bright yellow with kind of orange centers, the flowers are truly a gift of Mother Nature.
Flowers always lift the spirit.
If they could be in every household as part of the regular decor, they'd bring peace and spontaneous smiles.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPRING FLOWER?

I couldn't possibly choose a 'favourite' choice for spring flowers. There are too many I love: snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, tulips, grape hyacinth... pretty much anything green that pops out after a long winter. And of course, there are the spring blooming trees, like the May Day trees, flowering plums, apple, cherry, lilacs, to name a few.
Your daffodils must have been quite the delight, seeing them first thing in the morning when you came to your kitchen. A good start to any morning!
Wishing you a beautiful day, Susan.

My yellow daffodils are long gone in my yard but I loved them while they were here. I do not have a favorite flower. I love them all. When I went on walks at a very young age I loved finding violets, lilies of the valley and other wild flowers.
What a lovely bouquet to greet you. I love all flowers but especially lilacs....they smell so sweet .
Daffodils have faded here, making way for potted pansies and hanging baskets.
I love Tulips in the Spring, and Daisies. But the Rose is always my favorite flower. : ) Your daughter's daffodils look lovely on your kitchen table. Such a cheerful flower.
