This post is about delicious food during the Memorial Day afternoon.
Everything is absolutely delectable.
There are juicy cheeseburgers and hotdogs on the grill, a luscious potato/artichoke/olive salad, a pasta salad, and on and on.
Sorry, there are no photos of that part of the feast because we chowed it right down.
I managed to get photos of an elaborate charcuterie board that is a meal in itself.
There are even salami "roses." My daughter is a magician with food decorations.
There are also photos of the desserts. They include a strawberry cream cake that is so delicious it defies description, a small chocolate cake with red, white, and blue decorations on the white frosting, chocolate dipped strawberries, and luscious cookies.
It is a chilly day so there is even a crackling fire in the fireplace.
Coffee, from a French press, is very delicious, too.
My heart is so filled with gratitude.

What a lovely celebration. Such yummy food to enjoy with special people in your life.
For me at the moment, I'm so grateful for the arrival of summer at last. I've got a new post chatting about it so I won't detail it here.

I had a delicious Memorial Day celebration at my son's house. It was very special as there was a live band in the neighborhood and I haven't heard live music in ages. I think things taste so good when they are made on a grill. Your pictures were awesome.
Sounds like a wonderful time together and good food too. I love the looks of the desserts.
