Autumn's Gifts

(Leaves are about to change color as autumn makes her annual appearance.)

Autumn's gifts are almost endless.

Each day brings spectacular sights as the leaves metamorphose into living art canvases.

The sun's rays, when they come out, are brilliant but muted, bathing surroundings in spectacular gold.

Everything is changing before our very eyes.

The air is cool here in western Massachusetts.

Occasionally, one hears the pleasant sound of bells ringing from some church, far-off in the distance.

All senses are tenderly touched in autumn. This is Mother Nature's doing and she is very generous with her gifts.

May you and your family be especially blessed this Sunday.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF AUTUMN?

Oh, these photos DO look like an art canvas, Susan. How wonderful to hear the distant bells ringing from the church. I just saw a Christmas show that had
a church bell ringing and it helped an autistic boy find his way back to his parents. It was a heartwarming story. I think you're right, all the senses are touched in Autumn. I am savoring this glorious season very much.

I absolutely LOVE autumn in New England. That is the season I miss the most living here in SO Cal. I love the changing leaves, the cool temps, the apple cider, donuts, pumpkin patches etc. Enjoy them all Susan. Wish I was there.

At first glance I thought you bought art work. Mother nature is splendid. The sound of distant church bells add to nature's beauty.
