HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, DEAR BLOG PEEPS!
May today bring you smiles and the feeling of being loved.
Dear Blog Peeps:
I hope your day is filled with kindness and happy surprises.
It's been a few days since a new post has been done.
I was definitely feeling under the weather with some kind of flu but today, on the day of love, it's back to the land of the living. (Thank God.)
Thought you might like to take a peek at some of the items in my kitchen knick knack rack.
Lots of colored red glass items are on the kitchen windowsills.
Hearts of all kinds hang on tiny nails banged into the window frames.
Dear friends brought over a peace lily, too.
And a cousin stopped by with two of my absolutely favorite Victoria magazines and a tiny framed print for one of the dollhouses.
In addition, my local grands, daughter, and SIL gave me Valentine-themed paper plates, napkins, and heart-shaped frame.
There is also promise of gifts coming via mail from my out-of-state grands, son, and DIL.Yippah! I love holidays, don't you?
Just being thought about on Valentine's Day makes it extra special.
If your special someone is still with you, give him or her an extra big hug.
For those whose spouses or partners have left this earthly life, you are wished peace and happy memories.
Sending warm wishes and thoughts to all.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HAPPIEST PART OF YOUR VALENTINE'S DAY?

Thank you for sharing a view of the kitchen knick knack rack. I always enjoy it. It reminds me of the book by Elzabeth Goudge titled "The Scent of Water." If you have never read it, I can highly recommend it. It was reissued and is available on Amazon. In the book, an elderly Aunt bequeaths her curio cabinet of "little things" to her niece, along with her English cottage. Thus starts a new phase in the life of the niece, where the collection of miniature items is woven into the story. After the Bible, it is my favorite book. A treasure. Wishing you well...Linda
I didn't know you decorated your knick knack rack with Valentine goodies. As I'm looking through it, I see a cup with a red rose. The doll shoes are so cute too. And I have that little heritage doll on top. I haven't read Victoria magazine in awhile. That's a nice gift from your cousin. And getting stuff through the mail is so fun. I'm still awaiting Jess' surprise.
Have a sweet Valentine's Day Susan filled with chocolate and love.

ps.....I'd like to see the heart-shaped frame from your daughter sometime. : )
Love all your happy Valentine decorations Susan. Glad you enjoyed the day today. Hearing from family always makes it special.
