There are so many exquisite china patterns available to use and enjoy to the hilt.
One of my very favorite patterns is Old Country Roses by Price Albert.
I love pink and love roses. Mix them together with green among them and the combo is perfect.
My daughter bought me a set of Old Country Roses dishes, made in England, for a special occasion once.
We were living in Arizona at the time.
How beautifully she set the dining room table and called me in to present the gift.
It took my breath away to realize I, too, would now have that glorious pattern of china.
Additional pieces have been added since that time and I have never regretted collecting them.
So it was with great joy, while perusing a Goodwill thrift store, that I found a perfect decorative plate.
It's definitely the Old Country Roses pattern and would have cost at least four times as much as what I paid for it while perusing it, had the person sorting items at Goodwill that day known its value.
To use those dishes on special occasions never fails to make me smile and feel very happy to have and share them.
In great part, it's because of my daughter getting me the original set!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHINA PATTERN? WHAT COLOR IS IT?

Susan, I have a favorite candy dish, and I glanced at the bottom and it said Old Country Roses, Royal Albert, so I think your plate is the same line. I absolutely LOVE this line, and as I gave things away when I moved, it's something that I couldn't part with. I don't think I ever will. Your plate is so pretty also. with the charming cottage on the front. That's a keeper.
We do have the same taste in many things, don't we?

My goodness, you could get lost meandering through the painted images on the plate. Beautiful.
Hi Susan,
That was a great find! Old Country Rose china reminds me of my mother in law.....she collected it over years and had a large set passed down now to a granddaughter.
I do love china in all colors and patterns.
Enjoy your spring!
Carolyn
Very pretty decorative plate. I have a similar set of china and only use it on holidays. I love it too.
That is a very beautiful plate. I know nothing about china patterns. I have some vintage plates with roses on them that belonged to my great grandmother. I do love blue and white, too.
