The Look of Fall

Even though temps dropped quite a bit overnight, the cool air is sooooo welcome.

Time to unearth a few more fall trinkets from the unopened boxes, resulting from a major, life-changing move.

The old, familiar fall wreath, made by my daughter, and orange bow by Barb, one of my sisters, comforts and well as decorates.

It is a decoration from the past----from the old house hopefully now being sold.

A small string of lights, attached to the wire with orange plastic leaf figures, has been hung on the wreath, too.

They look especially pretty at night.

DO YOU DECORATE YOUR FRONT DOOR?

I have a wreath on my front door that Barb bought me when she visited with me. I change it to a Christmas wreath at holiday time. I love your wreath. I bet it looks very pretty with lights.

Susan, I love your Fall wreath. I've been wanting to get a wreath for my front door, but unfortunately, when one lives in the mountains, a screen door is a good idea to have, and a wreath just doesn't look appealing on a screen door. Sometimes I wish I could just get rid of the screen door, and put up a wreath on my nice wooden door. But too many squirrels up here, and a screen door is necessary. I like how you added your sister's bow to the wreath your daughter made. The Fall colors look nice against the green door. Glad to hear it's getting cooler there too.

Have a pleasant weekend, Susan, getting familiar with your new place. : )
