A good, non-medical way to feel better if life has got you down is to go outside and enjoy some of Mother Nature's gifts.
On a mini-excursion last week, a friend and I loved being outside.
Even viewing scenery through a car window as one whizzes along to a new place is better than nothing.
We drove to New York and had a great day.
On the way back, we spot
ted the scene depicted in today's post.
An old house, a gurgling waterfall, gorgeous, multi-shaped trees, and tad warmer temps all made for a perfectly delightful, spirit-lifting afternoon.
So today, go out and take a deep breath of fresh air.
Look at a tree.
Study a cloud.
Listen to the "boidies sing."
Enjoy Mother Nature's gifts.
WHAT IS ONE OF MOTHER NATURE'S GIFTS THAT YOU ESPECIALLY LOVE?

Susan, I so agree with your thought that "a good, non-medical way to feel better if life has got you down is to go outside and enjoy some of Mother Nature's gifts." Being outside on a warm day, going for a drive in the countryside, listening to the birds chatter (their songs start to change as it nears Springs)... all lovely ways to lift one's spirits.
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead.

Your post hit home for me this morning, Susan, as nature is one of my favorite places to be. What a charming home this is, and right by a flowing stream of water. Yes, even viewing nature from the window, as it's so cold out still, really does the body and mind good. I'm glad you got to take a drive with a friend and enjoyed the scenery along the way. Your photos are lovely, Susan.
