That's the 40 days before the glorious celebration of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
These days of reflection and preparation for Easter are often filled with sacrifice and longing.
Then, when Easter comes, there is great joy and deep happiness.

I love your little angel and candle, Susan, and the other angel lit up. There's just something soothing about candles. I just decorated a little for Easter last week. I love the color of the Lent season, Purple, so I use that in my decorating.

Yes Easter will be here soon. We are practicing our music at church for the big day. We also have a lent concert on March 31st called the Way of the Cross. I love singing with the choir for these events.
Yes, we celebrate Easter. Purple, the color for Lent, is a favorite color here. There will be services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday at our church, then comes Easter Sunday. The Hallelujah Chorus is a tradition!
