A Message from the Trees

Wherever one shops for household decorative items, there are always signs of every ilk.

One of my favorites hangs in my daughter and son-in-law's sunroom.

Thanks to the creator of the sign, John Muir. You nailed it, John!

Going out into nature is a sure cure for the blues.

It is healing to see green trees, bushes, and plants and listen to songs of the birdies.

Seeing a bear wouldn't be too great but we are keeping this post positive. ha ha ha

So, as the sign says, if you want to lose your mind more than usual, as well as find your soul, go out into the forest (or even the back yard will do.)

Breathe deeply.  Soak up some sun. Relax.  Pray if that is part of who you are.

You will come away refreshed, in both body and soul!

I do this everyday. Love where I live as it's like a forest in my backyard and the ocean is only a few minutes from me and we have a gorgeous lake too. Love nature.

Oh Susan, I love John Muir quotes. He has many quotes about the mountains that I love. You're right, if one is feeling blue, it's nice to step into nature and just sit awhile. Thank you for this gentle reminder, Susan. This picture of the sun shining through is very pretty. When you mentioned the songs of the birds, I could relate. I have been hearing the cooooo of the mourning dove for several days now. : )
