Sometimes all that is needed to perk up one's spirit is to look around.
At a niece's house recently, looking around the deck, revealed utterly gorgeous displays of brilliantly colored flowers.
This niece has a magical touch, similar to her mother, my sister, when it comes to flowers!
When my sister had a house, summer always brought gorgeous flower displays spilling over the boxes along the deck.
Now her daughters have lovely flowers on their own home decks.
Today, why not just look around where you are and see what you can find that lifts your spirit?

Very pretty flowers . She has a green thumb for sure. My jasmine bushes are in full bloom and so are my hydrangea plants.
It's been a very chilly June in our neck of the woods but hopefully, we have turned a corner and will soon see more of the sunshine again.
Oh, I love this, Susan. Thanks for the gentle reminder to just look around and see all the little things that bring us joy. A simple card at the grocery store brought me joy recently. Your niece's flowers are overflowing with beauty.
