A very large glass storage container has been taking up a lot of space on the new small apartment counter.
Thinking of letting it go, it is now washed and dried.Another thought pops into my head and I take action.
Why not use it as a Halloween decoration first, then maybe let it go?
So inside the container now is a happy-faced-ghost and a string of battery operated lights.
Outside the glass container, a fairly pleasant witch stands by, probably wondering how to get into that container, too.
She's fine until someone kicks off the motion detector because then a really scary cackling sound begins.
Anyway, the decoration is cute and now rests on the edge of a different counter to welcome any visitors.

Tee hee hee, what a cute idea.
Very cute and clever.
What a clever idea to put the ghost and some lights inside the glass canister, Susan. It looks like a pretty sturdy one. I know what you mean though, I just saw a glass pumpkin canister at the dollar store, and it was so cute to fill with candy, and then I thought, "well, my kitchen is so small that I need the space and not the canister." But isn't it fun when we come up with decorative ideas, like this one? Speaking of your cackling witch, I gave mine to the kids, but I sometimes miss it now haha.
You're really decorating your house nicely for the holidays, Susan.
