Ready or not, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and winter are all on their way.
"Ready or not, here we come," is a very appropriate saying these days.
While still admiring fall chrysanthemums, the supermarkets and retail stores have long begun to feature Christmas trees and gift possibilities.
Life is like that.
We must be ready for change and be able to adapt to whatever is going on around us.
We cannot stop the passage of time.
The best possible way to deal with days passing by at rocket speeds, is to embrace each moment and treasure it.
All the worries and stresses of life will not even be smoke in the wind 100 years from now.
All we have is now. Embrace it. Treasure it. Cherish it.
No one knows if there will be a tomorrow so today is a precious gift to be savored and appreciated.
Find the beauty all around you! Hug those nearby who love you. And treasure every breath you have before it's time to prepare Tom Turkey, open Christmas presents, and write out New Year's resolutions!

Happy Sunday and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I just take one day at a time.
I've never embraced change, it's kind of hard for me. But a good change is a pleasant surprise. The golden birds are so pretty, Susan, and is that your Christmas tree up already? Oh my, you have got things done quickly. Beautiful words on here today, dear friend. They always inspire me.

Lovely thoughts, Susan. I loved your photo with the sunflower in a vase and the golden decoupage birds nestling around the vase.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.
